Nina, thank you so very much for sharing your list - I really loved reading every single one and noticing their resonance. I found Number 5 particularly powerful, and keep thinking about it. Thanks for being here and again for sharing.
Thanks so much for reading, Sarah. Feels especially meaningful right now to connect through things that speak collectively to our hearts. I really appreciate you being here.
Oh that's beautiful, thanks Sisonke. Wish we were speaking and hearing each other tell our stories. With your fabulous pastel nails in attendance, of course! One day again soon, I hope xx
I love January for the space to reflect, to consider, to plan, prepare, revive
I love the advice from Emily P Freeman from Soul Minimalist - January is the new week between Christmas and New Year. We can’t possibly do all we need to do before we move into another year in just a week 😊
Loved reading your notes. Thanks for sharing
Writing is the way I process so I have lots of different journals, diaries visual journals that I use
Sounds glorious, Kylie, thanks so much for reading and sharing. I love the thought of your different journals and the different ways they hold space for your creations and expressions.
Holly, I love the depth of feeling and meaning in all your words, thank you. Many years ago I started asking myself ‘how am I, what helps me to feel settled and joyous, what do I want, what do I need?’ This has become a ritual for me, keeping this list close especially for times when I’m in need. Spending time doing what fulfils us is so important 💕
I love your words Holly💕and I love your January Notes. I love them so much that I went looking in our treasured bookcase/desk and found an old notebook to use for my own notes for this year.
You inspire me to trust and believe in myself...thankyou✨️
Wonderful notes. I was feeling particularly down about the state of the world and the latest far right movements in the US this week, and one of my oldest friends said, do not let them dim your light. Keep shining your light forth - the world needs it.
I love your January list - for the last few years I’ve done the same and I revisit each month. Here are mine
1. Set weekly goals -even if you don’t achieve them
2. Be creative -read write paint watch
3. Strengthen your body - move
4. Nurture community - connecting
5. Show more grace -be kind and Let Them
6. Gentle the soul - rest, mediate
7. Try new things- one a month should do
