And you have a She-Ra: Princess of Power journal tucked away in one of the pics. You just went up a notch. Next, you’ll tell me you also have a JEM & The Holograms one as well….

Forget a notebook, I had the original Jem doll! In my novel, the 80s She-Ra had a huge influence on Esther Wilding in her childhood shared with her big sister, Aura. Getting to gaze through View Masters at She-are slides and rewatch episodes was tough research! 😉 Thanks for reading!

Love this! My husband Gus picked up The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart while we were on our honeymoon in Australia last year. One of the amazing booksellers recommended your work to us. Wish I could remember which bookstore, but we went to so, so many during our travels. 📚I will have to add it to my short list now. Giving you a wave and sending great vibes from Portland, Oregon in the U.S. 🦉 p.s. As a kid back in Chicago, my father would say, “Hey, wanna go throw the football around?” My answer: “ I can’t, Dad. JEM’s on!”

Could not love this more: “I can’t, Dad. Jem’s on!” 💎 🤘👩‍🎤 Thanks so much for picking up Alice Hart on your travels in Oz, and congratulations on your wedding/honeymoon! I was in the beautiful PNW in Feb - April this year on book tour for my second novel - while I’d been there before and absolutely love it, it was my first visit to Portland and I had an event at Powell’s, which was, of course, all mind blowing. (As was the discovery of Harlow cafe and the vintage shops on NW 23rd!) Sending a big hello to you both there!
